This is the location. I had hoped to find swans here but, on this particular day, there were none.

I see a mother swan with cygnets and decide to attempt a photo. I have positioned myself between the water and her and she wants to get to the water.

She is wary and suspicious but decides to make a break for it.

Here it is, the shot I was hoping to get and had all but given up on. Just goes to show. |

She brings them right past me.

They waddle past my bike, danger over, and into the creek below.

Maybe I'll try again this year too.
