New Winter Season Window Clean 2019

Sprucing up the footy club for the new season after a summer hiatus. The club's signage has become dusty and has more than a few spiders' webs on it. This is quickly remedied with a wash down from "The System"
High windows are quickly and safely done to a perfect finish while I remain securely at ground level.
Anew balcony area is washed down, flooring included.
Club room windows finished to a high standard in preparation for the next day's game viewing.

I even give the old mascot's glass display a careful squeegee wash.

Window Cleaners Perth 2017

A New Approach 2017

These high leadlights have caused me great difficulty for years. I've always accessed them via an extension ladder which is time consuming and, more importantly, dangerous.
By using extension poles and de ionised water cleaning systems I am shaving time off the job, doing a way better job and being safety conscious at the same time.
Detergent and chemical free cleaning of glass is the best way to go right now.

For internal surfaces I use a damp micro fibre cloth/sponge I wrote about earlier, to wipe the glass clean, I then leave the damp glass to dry for several minutes depending on weather conditions;Todayis fairly cool so about 5 minutes is ideal, during the heat of summer I would be inclined to move to the next stage almost straight away.
Simply wipe off with a new, dry microfibre cloth. A perfect job will be done in an amazingly quick and easy time

The finished windows.

Woodlands Primary Fathers' And Kids' Big Camp Out. Friday March 30th'til Saturday March 31st, 2012.
Friday afternoon sees the school oval transformed into a tent city. It is the beginning of The Fathers' And Kids' Big Camp Out, a keenly anticipated and awaited event on Harry and Charlie's calendar.
The tent is put up in a surprisingly short time just as darkness falls.
The kids are very excited; they have been waiting for this night for weeks. The brainchild of parent,Tony Donaldson, The Big camp Out is an attempt to encourage more men to participate in the school's activities. I know hardly any of the guys on the oval. Now we are neighbours.
Tony calls a meeting when the tents are more or less up and we all say hello.

A bit more craziness ensues after dinner with a particularly spirited game of dodgeball.

After the games a movie projected onto the wall settles 'em down.
Time for bed.
Some sleep well   .   .    .

   .   .   .   Some not so well.
Morning arrives after the first almost-chilly night of the year, depositing a heavy dew over Tent City.
Breakfast.
An army of volunteers ensure that everything runs smoothly.

I have had a great time. I have met parents from my kids' school who I would probably never have met.
The boys have had a memorable and enjoyable night which they have looked forward to for weeks.
I will definitely be participating in any future events.
