Pure Water De Ionised Systems And Traditional 

Living in Perth City, West Australia we are not exactly spoiled for retail window cleaning equipment suppliers and when it comes to de ionised pure water units, even more so. I prefer to shop online. The company I use, Window Cleaning World, are excellent and provide traditional window cleaning gear also, so it makes for a convenient one invoice, delivered to your door experience.

Today I have treated myself to a miniature pure water unit in the 4 litre capacity. The 8 and 12 litre units are quite heavy to lug around and I'm hoping this smaller and much lighter unit will be useful, particularly in some of the more inconvenient, harder to access locations.

I have a product preference for this brand of exchange resin and unfortunately Window Cleaning World no longer stock it so I am sourcing it from a Melbourne mob, WWW Window Cleaning. It is more expensive than the Window Cleaning World product but for my money, lasts longer.

Sculpture By The Sea, Cottesloe WA

Saturday the 10th of March finds us at Cottesloe for Sculptures By The Sea and I note with some surprise that even though I have worked in and around Cottesloe for many years I have rarely used the beach here. Trigg Island has always been my spot.

The day is a scorcher, 40 degrees, but the beach is not crowded. Parking is available. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The water is blue and incredibly inviting, definitely top of my priorities.

This is my favourite   .   .   .    So life-like.

There is a great emphasis on fun in many of the entries.

This years winner has fun and meaning in shovels full. Have the wheels fallen off the West Australian mining boom? Inevitably this period of history will be ancient and forgotten and our great technological achievements will have receded into history and the waiting sands.

This sandbag installation was very popular, I particularly like how the turrets are fitted out with books instead of guns. Reading is portrayed as a defence against the world.

A beautiful walk along the beach to North Cott.  .  .  .  .

The sign says it all. We are a few short weeks away from winter and, much as I LOVE that season, I have learned to appreciate this period also.
