Mettams Pool North Beach

Remember when council provided a set of rickety steps directly to the water?
A long and winding wheelchair access path has been built.
Taking you past some very pleasant sights,
before dumping you out onto the merciless saw-toothed rocky landscape that Mettams pool has become.
The concrete ramp was built out onto a safe and sandy beach which was once favoured by the elderly and disabled. Whether the ramp itself has caused the situation by altering the currents and causing the loss of sand is something no one knows.
It's pretty funny really.
